A lovely pair of Fairies dangle from Triple Lunar Pentacles. Shown in Lapis Lazuli. ABOUT FAIRIES: Fairy folklore originated in Italy, where they were known as the Fatae. Fairies, or faeries, are known to bestowed gifts upon children and adults they are attracted to, such as beauty, wealth and kindness. Sidhe (pronounced 'shee') literally meaning "people of the (fairy) hills", is the Gaelic term for this mystical race of beings. Here the beauty and glamour of the faery folk is captured in Sterling Silver. ABOUT THE TRIPLE LUNAR SYMBOL: Symbolic of the Goddess or female Divine energy, the lunar force represents the light within darkness and enlightenment from ignorance. The moon is associated with intuition, magick and mystery, and is a symbol of the powers of flow, psychic perception, receptivity, the unconscious. The three phases of the moon correlate with the triple aspect of the goddess, Maiden, Mother and Crone. ABOUT LAPIS LAZULI: Lapis Lazuli assists in communication, and helps to increase wisdom and gain knowledge. Lapis symbolises holds the energy of a star-studded sky, limitless in its wisdom A stone associated with Jupiter, it is used for growth, new beginnings, and in all legal matters. Lapis was considered a sacred stone in Egypt. It is great to use to tap into your intuitive nature and psychic abilities. Lapis works as a shield from psychic attack. The pentacle has been a symbol of protection for thousands of years. It represents the domination of Spirit or Divine Will over base matter, and the elements of Spirit, Earth, Water, Fire, and Air.
